Cornea and External Disease
 Dr. William H. Ballinger Dr. William H. Ballinger, Jr., has been an ophthalmologist since 1984, being licensed in Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He served his internship (flexible) at Greenville Hospital System, his residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease, also at Vanderbilt. Dr. Ballinger served for a time as Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at USAF Regional Hospital at Langley Air Force Base, VA. He also serves as a co-medical director of the Lion Eye Bank of Greenville, SC.
 Dr. Michelle Ying Dr. Michelle Ying joined Jervey Eye Group at the Simpsonville location in October, 2009. She has just completed her subspecialty training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery in Boston. Dr. Ying will be practicing comprehensive ophthalmology and using her subspecialty training as a complementary fit to all the subspecialists and comprehensive eyecare providers in Jervey Eye Group.
